Anna Valeriya Mikhaylova

Anna-Valeria Mikhaylova (St. Petersburg, Russia) has settled in Italy since 2014. Currently, she lives and studies in Milan. During the last ten years, she has experimented with various forms and mediums of expression, like drawing, animation, photography, sculpture, and new media. Her interest develops around the recycling of obsolete images, technologies, and materials that the artist puts into dialogue with cutting-edge technologies. In her latest creations, she focuses on social issues related to privacy and global surveillance.
